Well where do i start ... with the bottom and work my way up to the top awards for the club.

The first awards for the evening was for the " Oh what a feeling award" which was won by three members this year ....

These next lot of awards are for the top awards which the club hands out they are the top Point score winner overall and the Colin Watson & Leigh Pascoe awards which shows the highest honour within the club and their members ...

	Phil Parker took home the overall winner for the points score class with top honours as Club Champion for the 2007/2008 season ... Congratulations Phil Parker
	Darren Staszek took the greatest honour from all members with winning the Liegh Pascoe award for the most valuable club member throughout the year.	As above Darren also took the second most valuable award with the Colin Watson memorial trophy for the member who puts in the most on race days.

This was a terrific night and there was alot of emotion from members and guests with a lot of sad news from members personal troubles which just goes to show how much support we give to all our members through the good and bad times.

A special mention goes out to Bill Wakeling that we all hope his wife makes a full come through with her current fight ... Bill we as a club are here to support you in what ever your needs maybe .

Another special mention has to go out to Dereck Hateley he was only notified about the presentation night to attend at 2pm on the Friday ... he rang myself back at 3.30pm and said he was going to make the drive down from Mt Gambia on the S.A Border just for the presentation of his win and dedication to the love of his sport Drag Racing .. Congratulation to all the winners on the night on behalf of the Ballarat Drag Racing Club Committee .. WELL DONE TO ALL -- GREAT EFFORT !!!.
